UPDATED with signing added for Robert Butler and I!
WHAT a huge year this will be at San Diego Comic-Con for Trek, the largest ever— coming up July 17-21.
We’ve come so far since the big modern catch-up for Trek at SDCC in 2016 with the 50th, Discovery‘s first peeks and Beyond‘s outdoor, live-orchestra’d world premiere.
And this year I’m so thrilled Trekland will be a part of it — and making history!— along with so many friends and colleagues, too.
Here’s where you can see and find me— including our post-panel meetups:
***THURSDAY— July 18
1:30 pm, Room 24ABC: “Roddenberry Presents” panel — I’ll be repping The Trek Files and RPN, of course. And then:
4-6 pm, Roddenberry/ Mission Log post-panel meetup: The Trek Files Trek-o-files and other Roddenberry Podcast Network fans: Join us for swag and more Trektalk at “Havana 1920” bar in Gaslamp >> 548 5th Ave!
***SATURDAY — July 20
10am-2:30 pm — Signing at AA14 in Autogrpah Alley, Sails Pavillion
4 pm: Trek Podcasters Ask: “Is Utopian Trek Passé ?”— My panel guests have asked their audiences, and now we turn it to our live fans as well: What is the state of storytelling and audience activation in 2019? (Central Library**)
With John Champion (Mission Log: A Roddenberry Podcast), Ken Ray (Mission Log: A Roddenberry Podcast, Mac OS Ken), Alison “Kenna” Pitt (Daily Star Trek News), Christine Rideout (TrekMovie’s Shuttle Pod), and Aaron Harvey (Saturday Morning Trek, TAS Official Guide) look at all beloved prior Trek as well as Discovery, Picard, Trek animation, and fandom today.
Click in at the Facebook event page, too!
5-7 pm Post-Pod-Panel Meetup! — Amplified Ale Works, 1429 Island Ave. (3 blocks northeast) Keep the conversation going with our podcasters panel — and I’ll have a flash-deal for Portal 47 and Trekland Treks! Click in at the Facebook Event page!
**BTW— The Central Library is really just as close to the Sails/Hall C as the Hyatt is! (Use the overpass)
***SUNDAY —July 21
Noon-1 pm: Star Trek Eyewitness: An Hour with Robert Butler, “The Cage” 1964 Pilot Director — like I said! (Room 29AB) Click in at the Facebook event page!

Unfortunately, I had to leave Comic-Con early. I was truly looking forward to your Noon-1 pm: Star Trek Eyewitness: An Hour with Robert Butler, “The Cage” 1964 Pilot Director panel. Is there some way to watch or listen to the panel? Kindly let me know. Thank you.

TY, I’m so sorry I just got back to your request.
I haven’t released video yet, but we released the audio as a special long edition of my podcast “The Trek Files” from Roddenberry. Here’s the link on Facebook, but you can also get it on most pod catchers like iTunes and Libsyn.
Trek well,
Larry
