Here we go: I’m back at the first big, live San Diego Comic-Con in three years!

Are you San Diego bound this weekend?

Will Comic-Con be back to 180,000+ again?  And all in masks, per SDCC rules for badges and admission?
The place crawls with hired security, so maybe all but the night parties may get there.

On the good side, we’re a far cry from 2015 when there was so little Star Trek programming and boothing, big or small… that my efforts were likely about a fourth of it!

But no more. The big Paramount Global “Hall H” Trek shindig is Saturday midday — stay tuned to your Twitterfeeds and perhaps live streams! — but so many current Trek creatives are a part of design panels with colleagues across series like writing, costuming, art direction, visual effects and so one.

Do a search on SDCC programming’s schedule for “Star Trek” and there are literally DOZENS of panels, plus booths of fans or exhibitors.

I have three of those — and hope to see you there, too.

OFF THE GRID, I’ll be up for getting a round for any new Portales or location-site Trekland Treksters at 6pm Friday or 1 pm Sunday!

Stay tuned this weekend across all Trekland for more!
